Our Team
Eric J. Gardner, MAI, CCIM
President
Eric has been in the commercial real estate valuation business since 1992. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati's Lindner College of Business in ’93 and an MBA from the University of Dayton in ’99. He has experience with numerous property types including: Office, Industrial, Retail, Multi-Family, Land and Special Use Assets. During his career he has been involved with assignments in several states and has international experience with projects in South America. During the past 20+ years, he has lead numerous complex tax appeal and appropriation case assignments as well as estates and valuation dispute matters. Eric has served on many Boards and Committees within the industry including serving as the President of the Ohio Chapter of The Appraisal Institute ’09 and as President of the Cincinnati/N.KY Chapter of NAIOP ’02. He is an active member of the UC Real Estate Roundtable and has spoken at several events. Most recently, he has served at St. Xavier High School in various roles for the Football and Rugby programs. Eric has two children -- a daughter who is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a son who currently attends the University of Kentucky. Eric and his son are both Eagle Scouts. Eric enjoys several outdoor activities including snow and water skiing.
Derek Street, Licensed Appraiser
Vice President
Derek has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate in a variety of roles servicing a wide range of clients. He holds a Certified General Real Estate Appraisal license with the State of Ohio and is currently a Candidate for Designation, Appraisal Institute. Derek is experienced in a variety of challenging assignments including mortgage lending, property tax appeals, eminent domain (road widening, gas pipeline installation, utility easements), divorce/estate settlements, fair market rental studies, discounted cash flow analysis, and various internal decision-making. He services a diverse group of clients including mortgage lenders, attorneys, healthcare organizations, brokers, developers, investors, government agencies, and private and public companies. Property types include: professional office, medical office, retail, industrial, vacant land, multi-family residential, and numerous special-use properties (cemeteries, government-owned buildings, parking lots/garages, auto dealerships, churches). Derek is a 2001 graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Management.
Debbie Weekley, Analyst
Debbie is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Business Administration, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Real Estate. Debbie’s experience in the Financial and Real Estate sectors has been earned at Fifth Third Bank, Cassidy Turley, Colliers Turley Martin Tucker and Pillar Valuation Group. Debbie is the mother of triplets, two boys and one girl. Debbie enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends when she is not working. She can also be found cheering on the University of Cincinnati or University of Dayton sports teams.
Audra Mitchell, Senior Analyst
Audra has a diverse background with 13 years in commercial banking operations and 6 years in software project management. Audra joined Gardner Street Commercial Real Estate Group, LLC in April 2023 as a Senior Analyst. She is currently working towards her General Real Estate Appraiser Certificate with the State of Ohio. Audra earned an undergraduate degree from The University of Findlay in 2004 and an MBA from The University of Cincinnati in 2018. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute and is an Ohio Notary Public. Audra is an active member of the UC Real Estate Roundtable and Greater Cincinnati CREW Network. Audra lives in Cincinnati with her two sons who attend Turpin High School. They are involved in cross country and track, marching and concert band, as well as Scouts BSA. Audra loves being outdoors and playing frisbee with her Mini Aussie, Rowdy.
Melissa Whitehead, Office Manager
Melissa was born and raised in Cincinnati, graduating from Sycamore High School. In 2004, Melissa obtained a real estate license from Hondros College. Since that time, Melissa has worked in the commercial real estate arena as well as residential real estate. Melissa is married with two lovely boys and enjoys camping, boating and traveling with her family and friends.
